I put a super trapp on my 96 - no problems at all. If fit right on, no cutting, and the holes matched up perfectly for the mounting bolts. You can see what those are once you get the new muffler. It takes a little while - just be patient as you go about the task. It comes with 8 discs or baffles and six allen long allen screws with high temperature grease (be sure to you that on the allen screws); you should have some left over in case you want to remove or add some discs you can use it again. The convex or cup side of the disc faces out toward the end of the muffler - you can see how the discs will fit on by observing where the fit on the end of the muffler. I started with six discs then put in all eight - eight is right for my machine. It simply flies, kinda loud but at 57, I can't hear much anyway.
Hope this helps some.
